Paul Frank Ad Challenge

After a few very hectic weeks I found myself at the nail salon, basking in the relaxation of my pedicure, and flipping through a new issue of Domino. And when I came across this ad for Paul Frank children's clothing I knew I had to turn this into a challenge. Admittedly, the kid looks a little strange (where did his neck go?), but I liked the over all inspiration this gave me. Doodles, scallops, kids = FUN!
So use this as your inspiration for the next 2 weeks! You can see the DT went all over the place with this. And how fab is that?! When people find the difference in the same thing...I love these kind of challenges. They really are my favorite! So go ahead and get your project done and linked up over here. I will be giving away a GC this time around! The random winner will get $10 to the store for your next purchase. So add as many as you want before the deadline of 4/10!
PS...I'm loving the 80's music, so I think I'll stick with that for awhile. Have fun!

Wedding Cake Challenge!

How many of you love the food network as much as I do?? I absolutely love the challenge shows they have on there...I'm addicted. So my good friend Jana is as well, and she had a really fun idea to use the fabulous wedding cakes people are ordering these days as an inspiration for a LO. We went through several and decided on the one below. Isn't that beautiful! WOW!
So this challenge is to use this cake as inspo for whatever you want to make. A LO, card, altered item. It really gets my creative juices flowing and can think of lots of fun ideas from it. This challenge runs from today through March 27th. I can't wait to see what you all come up with! :) Make sure to link your's so we can all see! Have fun!

And here are some ideas from the DT:

Inspired Blueprints Sketch Challenge!

As I mentioned a bit earlier, this month we have teamed up with the gals from Inspired Blueprints. They have such fabulous sketches and a great team to gain inspiration from! We are providing a $40 GC to one lucky winner this month. So take a look at this great sketch and get to work! They will also be releasing one more sketch mid month I believe.
We are running this challenge on this blog until Friday, March 13th. But you have until the end of the month to load your work up over at IB for a chance at the prize. So please make sure you sign up as a member, and load to their gallery as well, for a chance at the GC! And don't forget to link us up here to so we can see what you got going with the sketch!! Have fun!

And here are our DT examples. A lot of these were done with The Nightingale kit, which is still available!

March News!

Happy March 1st! :) I have a few exciting announcements to make!

First up. This month we are proud to be sponsoring the fabulous sketch site, Inspired Blueprints! Head over to their site and turn in your work on their sketches for the month, and you will be entered into a drawing for a $40 GC to the store! The first sketch of the month, #11, is really versatile (as all the sketches there are), and I think you will have fun with it. They also offer a really nice gallery and have a fabulous community over there, so be sure to Check that out! The DT will all be participating in this challenge and I will get it posted up later today, so check back to see what we have created!

Also, we have a GDTM joining us for March! Sasha Holloway has agreed to be part of the team, and we couldn't be more thrilled! She has been working with the new Nightingale kit, and is sure to bring you a lot of ideas and inspiration on things to do with the papers and embellishments. If you haven't checked out her blog it's a hoot! And there are lots of things to look at and read, and lots of great links!
One of my favorite qualities about Sasha is she is 100% authentic, and always brings that to her work. Also, she uses color, and patterns to their full potential...so her work is always a treat for the eyes! So let's give her a big congrats and welcome! She will be posting up her work on Mondays over on the LO blog this month, so be sure to check in and see what she's been up to!

BBL with the new challenge!
