This challenge was presented to us by DT member Virginia Tillery, and honestly, at first I was slightly intimidated. But after thinking about how many different angles you can tackle this one from I fell in love with with it! So go grab, or think about, a favorite childhood book, and do a project inspired by it! It can be your favorite, your kids favorite...etc. Also, you can do a literal art translation, you can draw from the title or from the moral of the story. You can relate what feeling that book gave you. There are so many possibilities...it's just whatever floats your boat. :)
This challenge runs from today 1/26-2/9. Please be sure to add your link here so I can track it. Also, this time we will be choosing a random winner for a $15 GC to the store!! So enter as many times as you like for a chance at the prize! have fun!!

I teach Kindergarten...I have one book I read without fail every year! It is called the Tale of desperaux! I was devastated when I heard they made it into a movie...it is such a magical story to read. I can honestly say I have never fell into a story like I did this one. I absolutely recommend you read it aloud to your children! :o)
I used the cover for my inspiration. I will be using this for the cover page of my NEW album I get to start because my last one is full!
Thanks so much for the challenge!
