Love Slide

Love Song Challenge

I took a cue from the latest kit (sold out... THANKS guys), and decided it would be fun to scrap a favorite love song! It can be your wedding song, an oldie but goody, something that reminds you of a loved one who has passed, really there are a lot of reasons we are drawn to LOVE songs! :) Think outside the box and have fun!
So this is running from today until Jan. 9th. Be sure to link up your work in the comments section. For some reason slide has decided not to let people link up directly there, so try and add it here. I try and get to the boards, but I sometimes get sidetracked, so the best bet to be up in the slide show is to link me via the comments or via email (noel@noelmignon.com).

What do you BELIEVE?

Well this will be one of the last challenges for 2008 and this time around we are incorporating the word BELIEVE into the title of our projects. Nothing more or less for this challenge, the only requirement is the word being prominent in you LO. This is running from today through Dec. 26th. Next Friday, Dec. 19th, the design team is hosting an evening of festive cheer! We are calling it the Holiday Cocktail Party Crop and we have all kinds of good things planned! Christmas Spirit Challenge!

Hi guys. So let me just start off by saying this was originally just going to be a "Let's create some Christmas Cards" challenge, but as I sat here this morning, in my little home, with my husband and 3 healthy kids, enjoying leftovers from our huge feast, I found myself surfing the web. I came across this website, and after digesting what I had just seen, found that it hit me hard. So I immediately decided that I needed to donate enough to give a family somewhere clean water for a year. And then I thought, what a great time to think about not only challenging your creativity, but also your generous "Christmas Spirit".
This challenge is to create at least 5 Christmas cards, and if your budget allows, to seek out a worthy cause to donate to. It's so easy to get wrapped up in our own lives and completely forget how good we really have it. No matter how tough or bad life may seem at times we are VERY fortunate to live at the level we do. So as you take time this year to think about your friends and family, take some time to also think about those less fortunate than you and not only think about it, but act on it. Donate or volunteer! You can help someone somewhere, no matter how small you think your time or donation is, it is SOMETHING...and that's what Christmas is about. Caring for everyone, not just finding the perfect gift for your husband or children. I guess I have watched A Charlie Brown Christmas one to many times here lately. Off my soapbox.
So anywho... :) Get to creating your cards and link them up! We have all provided a sketch to draw from, but you don't have to use them....use whatever you like, but make sure you do at least 5. And if you have a worthwhile cause link that up please! I would love to have a list of links to worthy organizations that need support. I will be choosing a winner for this challenge and issuing a $15 GC to the shop! This will run from today 12/1- 12/12. Have fun and I hope your Christmas Spirit is high this year. After I saw the pride and compassion on my kids faces when I told them about our donation, I know mine is! :)

Need a "Lift"??

Oh yeah...we all need a lift now and then, and what a better way to feel great about starting a new project than looking at an awesome artist, who inspires with all her work, and putting your spin on it! SO this is our first "lift" challenge, and we are gaining inspo from the FABULOUS Anne-Marie Teo!! Here is her original LO....Gorgeous... right!?! I love it!

This challenge is running from today through 11/28. I can't wait to see your spin on this one!! And here are some examples from the DT. Make sure you send your links in so we can add them all up to the slide show. HAVE FUN and I have added some super fun old 80's tune to try and get wheels turning. :) Oh and come on over to the MB and chat with us. We are having a blast getting to know everyone.

Time for a new challenge! Michele Kovack came up with the idea of doing a "Thankful" challenge, perfect for November, when we should all pause and think about how lucky we are. The "Monster Mash" Challenge

Hi guys! Well since this is Halloween week it only makes sense to have a "Monster Mash" challenge. I just love to see people in costume...it makes me happy! Adults, kids, pets....they all crack me up and bring a smile. So the only requirement is to try and get your "ghosts and goblins" scrapped in costume! This is only going to run for 5 days and will be over on Friday Oct. 31st! So add yours up to the slide so we can see all the fun costumes! These first few LO's were all done with the "Ghost Story" kit, which I have 1 left of! So go snap that lonely kit up and get to scrapping this years fun times! :)
