Virginia's Shabby Chic Bingo Challenge
Let's get shabby, shall we?! I'm a huge fan of the "shabby chic" style, and our resident DT member Virginia is a shabby connoisseur. Her work and projects always feature the elements of shabbiness....love that! :) So I asked Virginia if she could create a shabby inspired challenge for us, and she came up with a fabulous one!
If you are not familiar with the elements of shabby chic then take a peek at these photos and it will give you an idea.
Yum...pastels, florals, lace, crackle paint, bling... as the one and only Elsie Flannigan says "Holy Cute"! ;-) So, Virginia also had the brilliant idea of creating a "Bingo Card of Shabbiness" for you to all choose your own elements for how you want to create your work. Pick a row, any row...and run with it.
I picked a row and then discovered I had managed to also incorporate 3 extra elements in it as well. So it's not as hard as you may initially think. Give it a go!
This is running from today through July 3rd. Please be sure to link up your work (with a link directly to your LO) in the comments, so I can find it and add it to the slide show!
And I think it's time for a prize for a random entrant...so let's just say it will be a Jenni Bowlin Prize pack...because she is the reigning queen of scrapping shabby deliciousness.
Have fun with this one!

Thanks so much to everyone for playing along in the Friendship Challenge! Good stuff you guys!! :)
I wanted to let you know there are 2 new kits up over in the store!
The main kit is called Five Foot Two
And the add on is called Eyes of Blue
They are jam packed with all of the summer scrapping "must haves". There are a handful of each left, so hop on over to the store and scoop up a pair before they sell out!
Have a great weekend...be back on Monday with a new challenge!

Friendship Challenge
This time around we are scrapping about friendships. As Robert Louis Stevenson said "A friend is a gift you give yourself." True, true...right? We all have those friends you can just be yourself with and laugh with until 1am. Or those friends you don't get to see but every 5 years, and when you do it was like you just saw each other yesterday. So let's celebrate friendship for the next 2 weeks!
There is friendship in the traditional sense. And then there are other types of friendships to celebrate as well. Is your dog one of your best buddies? Or do your grandmother and her pet parrot have a bond that is unbreakable? Do you have a "group" that gets together once a month for Bunco, or dinner and a movie? Or has your child bonded with a teacher that has developed into a friendship? Think about all the types of friendship you find yourself and you family surrounded with. There may be more than you realize. :)
This is running from today through June 19th. Please be sure to link up your LO here so we can find it and add it up to the slide show!
Here are the DT examples...lots of great ideas! Have fun with this one, and I can't wait to see all the friendship LO's! :)
