Let's Play Ball!!

So, since my son has started little league over the past few weeks I am in a mood to get going on all those sports related photos sitting in my "to do" pile! And hopefully this challenge will motivate you to get going also! You can even scrap about how "non-sporty" you or your group is. Scrap about your "superfan", your favorite team, your college alumni....so many possibilities! I am hosting this challenge from today until April 11th. You can enter as many projects as you like, just make sure to either add them directly to the slide show or post a link so I can find them.

And....the winner will be the GDTM for May!! So get to scrapping...this one is going to be a blast!! I can't wait to see all the fun team spirit and various sports we love! Have fun! :)

Our first Sketch Challenge!

The very talented Ashley has come up with a really fun (yet challenging) sketch for you all to try this time around! Give it a go and see what you can come up with. Thia was such a popular challenge!! We had over 80 entries!! So this was a tough call!! We had a list of top 3 that we struggled with but in the end "Homer" beat out the rest. But seriously...these were ALL awesome. And what cute and special pets you all have! Who's got Animal Magnetism?

Jana had an awesome idea for a challenge incorporating animals...or an animal theme...or animal print paper. Basically, anything goes on this! Scrap your dog, some wild geese, your boyfriend with some tiger print paper...WHATEVER!! You can also submit cards and projects, so think outside the box.

A "spot" of inspiration!

Patti had a really fun idea to do an "inspiration" challenge this time around! So she took a photo of a painting in her home, and we all went from there. There are lots of things to think about when you look at the painting. The obvious circles, the colors, the actual texture of the paint. What inspiration can you draw from this?? My Main Homey

Wow...you guys all rocked this challenge! I thought this would be a fun topic and you sure didn't dissapoint! From Florida, to New York, to Mississippi. All over the country (and even a couple from Canada). It's so fun to see where everyone comes from. But alas, there can only be one winner for the guest spot, and I have chosen Mary and her sweet and very beautiful "My Old Kenucky Home" layout. It's just so relaxed and easy.....I love it!
